ABOUT BONNIE
Bonnie Britzman is the owner of Conservators of Fine Fabrics (COFF). She assisted the previous owner, Faye Walcher, for 20 years. As workroom manager, she was especially experienced in different types of display techniques--rigid mounts, poles, cases, etc.for textile types from Coptic and Pre-Columbian to contemporary embroideries and quilts.
Bonnie has 15 years of collections management and conservation experience as a COFF contractor in the curatorial offices of a major corporation. In 2003 she assisted Will Rogers State Park with textile storage while the house was being renovated; and in 2004 with the packing of the Audrey Hepburn Collection in preparation for it being shipped to Japan.
A lifelong resident of Southern California, Bonnie holds a B.A. in Illustration from Cal State Fullerton, and is an avid reader of American and European history.
Under the new ownership Conservators of Fine Fabrics will continue to offer a variety of cleaning and conservation services for the care of your ethnographic and historic textiles and costume.
